It wasn't until I confronted the situation head-on was I told they had ""no idea"" these things were happening. I have had NUMEROUS issues with goings on in the class, wrong papers coming home, my child being mistaken for ANOTHER child for the first 3 weeks in school, and the list goes on and on. My middle child has had a positive experience overall, but I certainly wouldn't consider it wonderful, and now I'm beginning to worry about my daughter, who is now just starting out in Kindergarten. My oldest had a wonderful experience, never any problems. Voters can visit their local city or township clerk's office to register to vote Monday or Tuesday or to return a completed absentee ballot."All 3 of my children attend, and had attended, Holland Township School. In Fillmore Township, voters have two millage renewals on the ballot: a renewal of a 3.052-mill road repair and maintenance millage and a 0.497-mill police services millage. Zeeland BPW provides electric service to about 4.9 square miles of eastern Holland Township and 17.6 square miles of western Zeeland Charter Township. The 30-year agreement authorizes the utility to continue to do business in the townships in exchange for a franchise fee, 1 percent of electric sales, paid to the townships. Zeeland Board of Public Works is seeking an electric franchise renewal from voters in Holland Township and Zeeland Township. The township has pledged not to seek renewal of one of its two 1-mill road millages when it expires this year, so the total tax rate levied by the township will not increase.

In Zeeland Township, voters are being asked to support a 0.5-mill increase to the township's millage that funds wages for its on-call fire department, which is seeing a rise in calls.

ZPS is also asking for a renewal and increase for its recreation millage for 10 years at 0.5 mills, up from 0.3936 mills.
